Option
#1: If you are

Option
#2: We highly
recommend this option for existing merchants. With option 2 you will need
to fax at least 1, however, preferably your 3 most recent credit card
processing statements for evaluation to 1-877-849-9956 toll free. Additionally,
if you process over $20,000 per month in credit card transactions this
option is the required method. There are quite often times where your
savings may not be from the base discount rate, rather from your mid or
non-qualified fees such as additional costs for acceptance of corporate
cards, check cards, keyed-in cards on swipe accounts, international cards,
and the list goes on. Depending on certain criteria FMS will adjust the
appropriate rates as necessary to offer your business the maximum savings
available.
We will
evaluate your last 3 processing statements, and prepare a custom written
proposal to show you exactly how much you can save, and where exactly
you will be saving it, which may differ from our advertised rates on this
web site. Upon receipt of our proposal you may then compare with your
statements, and understand exactly how, where, and why we can save what
we propose for you. Once you decide to switch to FMS processing you may

Some
Facts when Switching to FMS:
When you switch processing to FMS you may use your existing processing
equipment and/or software under most circumstances. If you already have
a point-of-sale (POS) credit card terminal, we will reprogram it to work
with the FMS Member Bank at which we place your merchant account. This
will save you the expense of purchasing or leasing any new hardware. The
only exception will be if you have a pin pad for debit cards pin entries,
these need to be re-encrypted which FMS will have done for you for a $50
charge through Paragon Encryption Services. If for some reason your equipment
and/or software is incompatible with our network we will notify you immediately,
at which time you may either obtain new equipment or cancel your order
at no cost to you.
If during
the short reprogramming process or throughout your time with us you have
any questions, need terminal supplies (paper, ribbons, drafts), or need
to repair/replace damaged or broken equipment, FMS will be there to provide
any assistance you need to keep your POS terminals up and running reliable
for as long as you process through FMS.
Our customer
support is designed to make credit card and check processing easier, more
convenient, and more productive for you. With extremely knowledgeable
support representatives available via telephone 24 hours per day, seven
days per week, you'll always be able to get the answers you need, when
you need them.
After
switching your processing to FMS you will receive several telephone calls
in the coming days, weeks, and months following your initial training
just to make sure everything is going as you expected it to. Should anything
not be as expected we will do whatever it takes to make you a happy FMS
merchant.
Once
on board with FMS your processed funds will be transferred to your own
checking or in some cases savings account in two business days electronically
via ACH (Automated Clearing House). You will receive a monthly statement
that allows you to match your bank statement to your processing statements
daily batch totals, making it easy to keep track of everything. Your processing
statement will arrive prior to your account being deducted the monthly
fees, giving you an opportunity to adjust your ledger prior to paying
these costs.
