Amerigroup Texas

Amerigroup is dedicated to the Medicaid, Medicare, SCHIP and SSI programs in the State of Texas. Amerigroup began operations in 1996. Our current service areas include the cities of Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Houston and their surrounding counties. We offer Medicaid in each of our Texas markets, SCHIP in Dallas, Houston, Fort Worth and Corpus Christi, and SSI in Houston, Austin and San Antonio. Amerigroup also began serving members who get both Medicare and Medicaid through a Special Needs Plan (SNP) in and around Houston in 2005 and San Antonio in 2008.
