Amerigroup Florida

Amerigroup offers health care coverage through Medicaid, Medicare, SCHIP and SSI programs in the State of Florida. We have been serving members in Florida since 2003. Our current service areas include Miami/Fort Lauderdale, Orlando and Tampa that include 17 counties. Amerigroup also operates under the TANF Reform contract in Broward County. This contract is part of the Florida Medicaid Reform pilot program.

In 1998, the Florida Long Term Care Nursing Home Diversion program was created. It added more counties to the managed long-term care program. Amerigroup Florida proudly serves recipients of SSI under this program.
