Passion doesn't punch a time clock.

Passion and caring are not things you switch off at the end of the day. They're part of who you are and what you do.

That's why we created Real Caring, a volunteer initiative that allows Amerigroup associates to channel their passion for caring beyond their jobs and into their communities—or wherever else the spirit takes them.

A hurricane hits Houston—a team of Amerigroup volunteers is on the scene.

Our Disaster Response Team gives Amerigroup volunteers the skills to "run to the danger" and help provide disaster assistance, particularly to people with disabilities who are often at additional risk and exposure during disasters.

Or when a small non-for-profit organization needs help setting up a business plan—an Amerigroup volunteer from our Capacity Building team can be of valuable assistance.

Each year the Amerigroup Foundation selects as many as five organizations to partner with throughout the year. Amerigroup associates volunteer their expertise to help these organizations meet their strategic plans.

Real Caring is not just a slogan, it's an opportunity for people with passion at Amerigroup to make a real difference in communities throughout the country.
