Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Vice President, Business Ethics

John R. Finley is Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Vice President, Business Ethics for Amerigroup Corporation.  In this position, Mr. Finley is responsible for the Office of Business Ethics and all compliance-related functions within the organization, including oversight of Risk Control Compliance Officers companywide.  Prior to joining Amerigroup, Mr. Finley was the Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Compliance Officer at the University of Kansas Medical Center, including serving as Co-Chair of the Association of Academic Health Centers (AAHC) Forum on Regulation.  He joined the University of Kansas from his position at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), where he worked in the Office of the Commissioner as Special Assistant to the Deputy Commissioner for Policy, and as Regulatory Counsel at FDA’s Center for Drug Evaluation, Office of Compliance.  Mr. Finley also served in the Executive Office of the President of the United States, Office of Management and Budget (OMB) as a Presidential Management Fellow.  An active member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Mr. Finley received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tulsa and a law degree and master’s of public health from the University of Oklahoma.
